Motor Marine MM II-EX Camera and Strobe Set
For more creative control of your images, Sea & Sea expanded the capabilities of benchmark of Motor Marine II and developed a more electronically sophisticated model: Motor Marine II-EX. The MM II-EX features variable shutter speeds and its the world’s first and only amphibious camera to synchronize for TTL photography of speeds of 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, and 1/125. It also features automatic film indexing of three film speeds: ISO 50, 100, and 400. The redesigned built-in
flash is activated on the focus lever and allows shutter-flash synchronization of 1/125 at any f-stop. Like its predecessor, the Motor Marine II-EX incorporates a high-quality built-in 35mm lens with bayonet mount so that you can attach or detach auxiliary optics underwater and a built-in close-up lens that focuses down to 18 inches. It is fully compatible with YS-50TTL-S, YS-120Duo, and YS-300TTL-S strobes for automatic flash photography.

Shutter Speed Dial
The MM II-EX is the world’s first amphibious camera with TTL flash automation at four shutter speeds. The top mounted dial offers selection of should read: 1/15, 1/30, 1/60 and 1/125 of a second. The combination of these shutter speeds and selected aperture settings provide the photographer with boundless possibilities.
The internal electronic flash may be used indoors or out when auxiliary light is required for a proper exposure. It may be used at any f-stop.
Bulkhead Connector is a port to electronically mate camera with auxiliaries strobes. Conveniently located on the left side of the camera.
Macro Lens 2T
Macro Lens 2T (left) is constructed of 3 elements in 3 groups, offers a 1:2 magnification ratio, and has a picture area of 3.2 x 2.1″. Minimum focusing distance: 5.7″. Depth of field at f/16 is 3/4″ and at f/22 is 1″. Attached guide rods fold down to prevent shadow and for convenient storage. Pressure tested at 150 feet.
Macro Lens 3T
Macro Lens 3T (right) is constructed of 2 elements in 2 groups, offers a 1:3 magnification ration, and has a picture area of 4.8 x 3.2″. Minimum focusing distance: 9.2″. Depth of filed at f/16 is 1″, at f/22 1 1/2″. Removable guide rods store in slotted grooves beneath the base plate. Pressure tested at 150 feet.
To take full fame images of the reef’s smallest inhabitants, you need a macro lens. An auxiliary macro lens enables you dramatically reduce your subject-to-lens distance and create razor-sharp images bursting with color and crisp details. Sea & Sea offers two high-quallity macro lens systems for use with the Motor Marine II and Motor Marine II-EX. Both mount over the camera’s 35mm lens. Both are for underwater use only.
U/W Color Filter
MM II 20mm Lens and MM II 16mm Lens.
The U/W Color Filter is an optional accessory that fits over MM II wide conversion lenses will enrich reds, oranges, and yellows on film for brighter, more natural looking images. It can be attached or detached underwater.

20mm Wide Conversion Lens Kit
The MX-10 20mm conversion lens extends the able of view of the built-in lens from 51″ to 74.4″ and reducing minimum focusing distance to 16 inches, ideal for taking photographs of large fish, schools of fish and fellow divers. It is constructed of 3 elements in 3 groups and delivers distortion-free images with edge-to-edge sharpness. Its bayonet mounts allows for easy attachment and removal underwater. For accurate framing and composition, a Sportsfinder is included. They are for underwater use only.

The MX-10 Macro Lens has been design specifically to use with the MX-10. The bayonet coupling lens is fitted to the base plate by a hinge, an innovative feature that makes the unit impact-resistant
and enables you to fold the lens down for storage. Detachable guide rods store beneath the the base plate in slotted grooves. The lens is constructed of 2 elements in 2 groups, offers a magnification ration of 4:55 and a picture area of 4.4 x 6.6″. It can be attached or detached underwater.
